Sun is less delighted than them, because they have each other ; therefore they have the entire world too. Then the poet tells the sun that’s it’s so old that it should take its duty easily and as its duty is warming the world, this job can be accomplished just by warming them, since they possess the world, actually their bed is the center of the world, where they rule and the wall is the border where the sun can spread its warmth.

My general understanding of the poem is that the poet is talking about the preparations for war; when a soldier is being trained to kill people.

Ivan, our protagonist, decides to study veterinary, this shows us that he wants to display all his qualities. He's not easily satisfied; he has a free spirit, this is obvious in his actions; for example while washing himself he also enjoys swimming.

n this short story, the conflict is man versus himself. We can notice that in the struggle between Ivan and himself: his ideas about life and the role of happiness. We have also a conflict between man and man: the one which is between Ivan and his brother; actually his ideas . I'm not sure but we may have a conflict between man and society, because they don't have acceptable life conditions; for example we have a landowner who is poorly dressed. Maybe Chekhov wanted to represent the deficiencies of society and the govement.

The theme in this short story is greed and fulfillment. The greed that Nikolay has for achieving his dream and for fulfilling it. The word " Gooseberry " is the leitwortstil. Gooseberries may symbolize Nikolay 's sweet ambition, but actually the gooseberries have a sour taste. The other theme is happiness. Achieving our goals does really lead to our happiness? Or life means much more than that? Maybe chasing our personal objectives and reaching them is selfishness, as some people are suffering from poverty.

This poem is about a lonely person who is walking without any purpose in nature, suddenly he reaches a breathtaking scenery: an infinite amount of daffodils, soon he’s impressed and he forgets his loneliness. Whenever he’s sad and lonely he thinks about this scenery and he’s no more idle.
Maybe the poet wants to remind us the beauties of nature, that we can easily be provoked by them and that sometimes we should get back to them .

In my opinion the poet is on his way to see his lover. On the road he finds everything beautiful and refers the beauties of nature to his love, actually wherever he sees a nice thing , he relates his love to it. We can say that the whole poem describes a jouey to the poet’s love and his aesthetic views on whatever he notices,while picturing his love’s appearance in his mind.
